Having too many assets or expenses can be confusing. We provide a convenient way to group related items together into, you guest it right, groups. Create as many as you like, add assets, liabilities and cashflows to them and enjoy the simplified hierarchical view of your data.

Groups for assets and cashflows are independent of each other.

Groups can be nested, i.e. you can add a subgroup as a child of an existing group. There is no limit to this level of nesting at the moment.

Each group provides a summary of all of its children. Here is a small example of a possible hierarchy:

  • United Kingdom: -£183,877.81
    • Banking: -£233,877.81
      • HSBC current account: £2,100.00
      • Halifax mortgage: -£240,000.00
      • Sample mortgage with no value: £0.00
      • Santander current account: £2,001.00
      • Starling account: £798.00
      • Travel money: $1,500.00

Note, that at each level you can see the total amount for all the children. Even more, each asset, cashflow or group can have a currency override. The system converts all the values to one currency and presents consistent results. Read more about currency conversion.
